MBLAQ’s member Lee Joon is in talks for Venice-winning director and filmmaker Kim Ki-duk's new film.

Friday morning, an official from Lee’s agency, J.Tune Camp, told the magazine over the phone that the singer and actor is positively looking over one of the roles in “I am an Actor” [translated title].Helmed by auteur Shin Yeon-sik of “Piano Lesson” (2003), the upcoming movie will tell show how a famed actor hits the bottom of his career.

Lee, one of the vocalists in K-pop idol band MBLAQ, made his acting debut in 2009 as a supporting actor in the Hollywood movie “Ninja Assassin.”

The idol star is currently making his appearance on MBC’s romantic program “We Got Married” alongside actress Oh Yeon-seo. He also has a blockbuster TV series, "IRIS 2," to be aired this month.
