SHINee's Minho wins gold medal in "For You in Full Blossoms"

SHINee‘s member Minho has become a gold medalist in SBS' new TV series “For You in Full Blossoms.”

On Wednesday, promotion firm 3HW released a photo taken on the set of "For You in Full Blossoms," which shows Minho wearing a gold medal around his neck at an outdoor stadium. The reps explained that photo was taken right after Minho finished two-hour-long shooting for his high jumping scene at the Jamsil Stadium in Seoul, Korea on June 28.

“Minho is really immersed in his character Kang Tae-jun these days. He is trying his best to portray the high jump athlete perfectly,” an official of the drama’s production company SM C&C was quoted as saying in the statement.

"For You in Blossoms" centers around the story of Goo Jae-hee (played by Sulli) who disguises herself as a guy to enter boys' physical education high school where Kang Tae-joon (played by Minho) attends.The drama has created a huge buzz long before kicking off its run by casting popular K-pop idol stars such as f(X)’s Sulli, ZE:A's Kwanghee and Minho.

The upcoming Wednesday and Thursday series will hit the airwaves on August 15.
