Ku Hye-sun to hold art exhibition

Multi-talented entertainer Ku Hye-sun will showcase her art pieces at a solo exhibition this fall.

Ku made the announcement through her official Twitter account Tuesday saying, "From September 17 to 24. I will host the 'Ku Hye-sun Solo Exbihition' at the Hangaram Art Museum in the Seoul Arts Center. I will showcase 120 of my own art pieces and stay there for the whole eight days^^." Along with the news of her upcoming exhibition, Ku uploaded two photos of her art work that give a glimpse of what visitors can expect from the show.

Ku is known for having many titles under her name including actress, singer-songwriter, artist, novelist, director and scriptwriter.

In between modeling for TV commercials and becoming an actress in 2006, she was planning to debut as a singer under the guidance of Korea's entertainment agency YG Entertainment. Her breakthrough came in 2006 when she appeared in KBS' TV series "Pure in Heart," co-starring actors Lee Min-woo and Seo Ji-suk.

Her other popular TV shows include "Boys Over Flowers" (KBS, 2009), "The Musical" (SBS, 2011) and "Take Care of Us Captain" (SBS, 2012).

In the meantime, as a director, Ku will be attending the 8th annual Jecheon International Film Festival (JIMFF), which will take place in Jecheon of North Chungcheong Provice from August 9 to 15. Two of her film, "The Peach Tree" and "Fragments of Sweet Memories" will be screened during the week-long fest.
