Soon-to-debut D-Unit to hold fan meeting in Japan over weekend

Ahead of launching their activities in Korea next month, trio girl group D-Unit is scheduled to hold a meet-and-greet in Japan over the weekend

The girls' agency, Pasta Entertainment, announced in a press release Thursday that the soon-to-debut Korean singers will head to Tokyo, Japan to hold fan meetings from July 7 to 8. The firm added that the trio will perform their songs "Before the Weekend Comes" and "Sleeping In" for the first time at the official fan event.

D-Unit member Wooram said, "My heart is pounding fast to be introduced in Japan before our official debut in Korea. I hope it goes well just like our recent fan meeting we had in Seoul."

Pasta's C.E.O Bang Yoon-tae explained that the firm has received several offers from Japanese talent agencies to sign management contracts in the country."I'm happy that the girls are getting much attention and receiving business offers but that gave me thoughts about preparing the girls more for their future activities," Bang said.

D-Unit is composed of T-ara member Boram's younger sister Wooram, former YG Entertainment trainee Yoojin and vocalist Sujin. The girls are set to make their official debut in Korea on August 3.
