Channel A to air Korea-China-Japan's TV series "Stranger 6" this month

A TV series co-produced by Korea, China and Japan will finally make its premiere here on Joongang Ilbo's Channel A later this month.

The show's promoter YTree Media said on Wednesday that Korea-China-Japan's TV series "Stranger 6" will air every Wednesday night on Channel A, starting May 30. "Strangers 6" tells the story of six individuals from the three countries after being assigned by the highest level authorities of their respective countries to protect the nations' joint economic area from being interfered by a third organization.

It stars Korean actors Oh Ji-ho and Kim Hyo-jin, Chinese actors Bowie Lam and Lui Xuan and Japanese actors Kikawada Masaya and Toshiaki Karasawa.

The show was overseen by China's leading production company Beijing Hualu Baina Film&Tv Co., Ltd. while Japan's FujiTV, WOWOW and Index and Korea's W media Contents, BnC Entertainment and HnB Pictures also took part in creating the series. "Stranger 6" has already received rave reviews after hitting the airwaves in Japan's Fuji TV and WOWOW TV.
