"Annyeong-ha-se-yo! (Korean word for 'hi') Annyeong. Annyeong. Annyeong. That's how cool people say hi."

Revisiting South Korea in ten years after the 2002 World Cup, the singer-turned-actor Will Smith landed in the country for the world premiere of "Men in Black 3" along with Josh Brolin and the film's director Barry Sonnenfeld on May 6.During the whole 40 minutes of the film's press conference held in Seoul this morning, Smith kept the audience -- mostly formed of serious-looking reporters -- burst into laughter by making jokes and comical poses.

Amid such delightful atmosphere, Smith explained about what has led the crew to launch the world premiere in Seoul.

"Ten years ago, we were very successful when we were here (to promote 'Men In Black 2') during the World Cup. I thought it was extremely important that......for years we've been talking about opening markets around the world film markets that are popping and being successful and we've been pushing it and pushing it. And now the United States, studios are opening up watching these (growing markets) outside of America. You know, Korea, because it's a huge growing market in the film world, it seems like the perfect place to begin."As Smith has been expanding his career into film producing by producing a remake of 1984's "Karate Kid" few years ago, he showed his interest in growing movie industry in Korea and talked about what differentiates the films from other movies produced overseas.

"What’s really distinct is the Korean cinematography. That’s what I really started to pay attention for a few months. The cinematography is very distinct. Considering......directing myself, I just started paying attention to world cinemas. The way the action is shot in Korea also, is very distinct.”

Wrapping up the press conference, he showed his excitement for the grand opening of the pic here on the same day and expressed his appreciation for the Korean fans welcoming him.

With actor Josh Brolin and director Barry Sonnenfeld, the crew is scheduled to attend the red carpet event of "Men in Black 3' world premiere in Seoul tonight.
