"Two Days and One Night" awarded with grand prize at KBS Entertainment Awards

The stars of KBS' variety show "Two Days and One Night" took home the grand prize at the 2011 KBS Entertainment Awards held over the weekend.

At the awards ceremony held at KBS' Open Hall on Saturday, Lee Seung-gi, Lee Su-geun, Eun Ji-won, Uhm Tae-woong and Kim Jong-min received the top honor as the hosts for KBS' show "Two Days and One Night" which is one of the most-watched programs in the country. "I am truly grateful for this award and I am even happier to receive this award with my fellow seniors of the show. Thank you so much to everyone especially the viewers," Lee said in his acceptance speech.

"We also want to thank Kang Ho-dong who can't be with us here today but he has been such a huge part of the show since the beginning," Eun added.

In September, Kang announced his departure from show business, which came when public furor mounted over his failure to declare his income properly.The prize for best program, chosen by viewers, went to comedy show "Gag Concert."

The ceremony featured a musical performance by female idols Girls' Generation and comedy acts by the members of "Gag Concert."
