Actress Hwang Jung-eum is considering a role in the sequel to 2004 smash hit TV series "Full House," her agency said on Monday.

An official with Core Contents Media told 10Asia over the phone that Hwang is "eyeing the project positively because she likes her character" although nothing has been decided.The official then added that actor No Min-woo, who was offered the role of the main male character last month, is still discussing on his appearance in the series as well.

Originally a 16 volume series by Won Soo-yeon, "Full House" was popular amongst Korean readers from when it started being published serially in 1994.

The drama version starring singer-actor Rain and actress Song Hye-kyo was a smash hit in Korea and was sold to several Asian countries including China, Japan and the Philippines.No, who debuted as a singer in 2004, pursued an acting career two years later, making his name known more recently through TV series "Pasta" (MBC, 2010) and "Midas" (SBS, 2011).

Hwang, 26, debuted as a singer in 2002 with the now-disbanded girl group Sugar and gained popularity after appearing in MBC reality show "We are Married" in 2009 with her boyfriend Kim Yong-joon of male group SG Wannabe.

Her last acting gig was in MBC TV series "Listen to My Heart" this year with actors Kim Jae-won and Namgung Min.
