The album covers for Korean girl group After School's red and blue unit have been revealed.
Their agency Pledis Entertainment released the images of the girls on Friday, revealing the concept and tracklists for the upcoming albums which will hit stores on July 20. The red unit's cover unveiled members Kahi, Jung-a, U-ie and NaNa donned in tight short black dresses in accordance to After School's original powerful and sexy concept, while the blue unit's cover showed Juyeon, Raina, Lizzy and E-young sitting in a grassy field all dressed in white which reflects the summer season with cute and cheerful images.
"The group was split based on the votes made by the fans and the members are thoroughly enjoying the decision and are working hard on the albums," an official from Pledis was quoted as saying.
After School made their debut in early 2009 and recently wrapped up promoting their title track "Shampoo" from their first full-length album "VIRGIN." The girls held their second fan meeting in early July and are currently preparing for their official singing debut into Japan with their showcase on July 17 and the release of the Japanese version of their hit song "Bang!" on August 17.
