Synthpop act Owl City will hold his first ever concert in Korea in October, according to the concert's promoter 9 Entertainment on Thursday.

A press release from 9 announced that Owl City will take to the stage at the AX Korea hall for his concert titled "Owl City Live in Seoul" on October 24. Formed in 2007 in Owatonna, Minnesota, Owl City is an American electronic/synthpop musical project by singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Adam Young.

He released two independent albums and gained mainstream popularity in 2009 with his major label album "Ocean Eyes" which produced the quadruple-platinum hit "Fireflies." The album became certified Platinum in the United States in April 2010.

Owl City is also popular for their other hit songs including "Umbrella Beach," "Vanilla Twilight," "The Technicolor Phrase" and "To The Sky." Tickets for Owl City's concert is currently available on online reservation site Interpark.
