BEAST continues to stay atop live TV music shows

Boy band BEAST dominated live music shows with their song “Fiction” over the weekend once again.

BEAST marked their second consecutive win on both KBS’ live music show “Music Bank” last Friday and SBS’ “Inkigayo” on Sunday. Overcome with joy, the members of the six-member band hugged each other on “Music Bank” while on "Inkigayo," member Gi-kwang promised his group will work even harder.

This is the song’s seventh win in total on a televised music chart after staying victorious on music cable channel Mnet’s live music show “M! CountDown” for three weeks as of last Thursday and their eighth win when counting their additional victory on "Music Bank" with separate song “On Rainy Days" three weeks ago.

“Fiction,” which is the title track to the group’s first full-length album “Fiction and Fact” released last month, is a sentimental dance piece about a guy who creates an alternative world in his head to escape from the pain of a broken heart.Meanwhile, other singers that appeared on both weekend shows included Kim Hyun-joong, FTIsland, After School, A PINK, X-5, Jewelry, Eru, Baek Ji-young, Secret, Jang Woo-hyuk and RaNia.
