Korean boy band BEAST have shown that they are making progress on their new local album, raising anticipation amongst fans on the group's upcoming release.

BEAST's Yoseop wrote a message on his official Twitter account on Saturday saying, "We are going to record the title track for BEAST's album. Everyone should be on pins and needles. It's going to be great. Besides that it seems like the members of BEAST really like to snack." He posted a picture along with the comment which showed the members of BEAST in a recording studio with famed music producer Shinsa Dong Tiger who has worked on their past hit songs.

A PR official from Cube Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Monday that the boys have continuously worked on the album although declining to reveal when the record will become available.

Composed of other members Du-jun, Hyun-seung, Dong-woon, Gi-kwang and Jun-hyung, BEAST made their debut in October 2009 with their first mini-album “"BEAST IS THE B2ST" and has since produced hit songs such as “Bad Girl,” “Shock,” “Easy.” And “Soom.” They recently placed second on Japan's Oricon weekly chart with their single "SHOCK," the highest rank for a non-Japanese Asian artist to reach on the chart with their debut single.
