Korean idols Big Bang's fourth mini-album has entered the top 10 of Apple's iTunes records charts.

According to the official iTunes website, Big Bang's latest album, which was released yesterday, has placed at No. 9 on the overall bestseller's chart in the U.S. and on the album chart in Canada. Individually, Big Bang members Taeyang and duo unit composed of G-Dragon and T.O.P have ranked in the top ten of Apple’s iTunes chart under the R&B/Soul and hip-hop category, while this will be the group’s first time to break into the overall records chart.

"Not only are we reaching out to our local fans but we worked really hard on our new album since we know our fans overseas have had their eyes on us," the members of Big Bang were quoted as saying.

Composed of other members T.O.P, Taeyang, Daesung and Seungri, Big Bang was discovered and trained by major talenthouse YG Entertainment. They made their debut in 2006 and has since released a number of albums and hit songs. The boys made a successful comeback to the local music scene with all six tracks from their album listing within the top ten spots on numerous online charts. They will be taking the stage tonight at the Gymnastics Stadium of the Olympic Park for their annual "2011 BIG SHOW" till February 27.
