Shin Hye-sung's December concert sells out

Tickets for Shin Hye-sung's concert next month have been sold out.

A press release from PR firm The J Story on Friday announced that tickets for his concert on December 4 and 5 titled "Close To You" held at AX-Korea in Seoul, which seats 2,500 people per show, were sold out within ten minutes since going on sale last night. "We weren't prepared for so many people to take interest in Shin's concert. We didn't expect this kind of response so we want to thank the fans for showing their support," an official from his agency Liveworks Company was quoted as saying.

The singer will take the stage to perform new arrangements of his past hit songs with an acoustic and string band and introduce the upcoming tracks from his new album which will be released in mid-November.

Born Jung Pil-kyo, Shin Hye-sung made his debut as one of the main vocalist for the popular boy band Shinhwa in 1998. He embarked on a solo singing career in May 2005 and released several albums in Korea as well as expanding his career into Japan.
