Lymbyc Systym to hold shows in Korea from June 24-27

Electro-acoustic Indie band Lymbyc System will be visiting Korea for four shows in late June, according to concert promoter Ruby Salon on Wednesday.

Ruby Salon announced in a press release that the Brooklyn-based brother duo will take the stage for performances in Daegu, Busan and Seoul from June 24 to June 27, promoting their second full-length album "Shutter Release." Lymbyc System, consisting of brothers Jared and Michael Bell, splashed onto the Indie music scene in 2001. Their music features the combination of vintage keyboards, catchy melodies, analog effects, drumming and computer programming.

The two have opened for high-profiled groups including Crystal Castles, Broken Social Scene, Blonde Redhead and The Flaming Lips.

For their performances in Korea, they will be playing alongside local Indie bands such as Gate Flowers, The Pony, Hanumpa and Huckleberry Finn. Tickets for their shows can be purchased at the official Ruby Salon website (www.rubysalon.com).
