Girls' Generation triumphs on televised music charts

Female K-pop idols Girls' Generation dominated televised music shows with their song "Oh!" over the weekend.

The nine-member girl group was crowned winners for the second consecutive week on KBS' Friday show "Music Bank" with their title track from their album of the same name, while also taking their first win on SBS' Sunday music program "Inkigayo." Pop quartet 2AM had won the top Mutizen Award on "Inkigayo" the previous week with their new single "I Can't Let You Go."

The single from Girls' Generation's second full-length album has topped several music charts since its release in late January.

They are scheduled to give an encore performance of their "1st ASIA TOUR CONCERT - Into the New World" on February 27 and 28 before heading to Shanghai in April.
