2AM conquers mobile music charts

2AM has risen to the top of mobile music charts, according to their agency Big Hit Entertainment on Friday.

The male quartet's new single "I Can't Let You Go," which had been on top of mobile Internet service Nate's background tunes chart, placed atop the ringtone chart as well to dominate the service's mobile music charts. Nate, provided by Korea's top mobile carrier SK Telecom, provides a wide range of services for its subscribers including web surfing, games, ringtones and other various applications.

"I Can't Let You Go" has also been the song to receive the most downloads on social networking site Cyworld and applied as the background song for users' personal accounts. The track has been fighting a close game up against Girls' Generation "Oh!" on various singles charts including Soribada, MelOn and Dosirak.

2AM made their debut in 2008 with the hit tracks "This Song" and "Time For Confession". Their first full-length album went on sale last month.
