Indie band Counter Reset to debut in Japan

Korean punk band Counter Reset is set to make their official debut in Japan next week, according to their agency Monkey Global on Friday.

The band, who recently signed with major Japanese record label LD&K, will be releasing their Japanese debut album on January 19. The music video for their track "Rabbit Mask" reportedly drew attention for casting a famous, young skateboarder named Iku Denda. It was directed by Yoshizawa Shoko, who filmed the music video for "Last Train", a popular tune from a Japanese animation film.

Formed in 2001, Counter Reset is one of the most popular bands in the underground music scene. They released their first studio album "Native Place" in 2003, which reached No. 5 on online music charts.

The band is scheduled to tour Japan for three months, starting February.
