2PM on countdown to unveil comeback plans


Boy band 2PM has gone on a countdown to unveil their plans for their comeback.

A countdown timer, posted on their official website (2pm.jype.com) since early Saturday, indicated on Monday morning that there are less than six hours left till the group reveals information about their new album.JYP Entertainment, managing the boy band, had said till last week that the group is set for a comeback sometime in mid-November.

The formerly seven-member group will be resuming their activities officially for the first time without leader Park Jae-beom who quit the group in early September over controversial comments he made about Korea on his MySpace account before his debut.

Fans have been protesting against Park's departure, calling for the former leader to be reinstated into the group.2PM has been one of the most popular idol groups in Korea since making their debut in 2008.
