Park Bom, lead vocal of girl group 2NE1, will release her first solo single next week, according to her agency on Friday.
YG Entertainment announced in a press release that the lead singer of the four-member idol group will release the digital single and music video for "You and I" on October 28.The song, about promising her eternal love for the man who stayed by her side through difficult times, was written and composed by Teddy who penned several of the group's hit songs including "Lollipop", "Fire" and "I Don't Care".
This will make Bom the second member of 2NE1 to release a solo single. Sandara had topped the chart with her song "Kiss" in September.
2NE1, managed by Korean talent powerhouse YG Entertainment, has been a hit since their debut in July.
