So Ji-sub, Park Hae-il, Lee Tae-gon win top prize at culture and entertainment ceremony

Korean actors So Ji-sub, Park Hae-il and Lee Tae-gon received the top prizes at the 19th Korean Culture & Entertainment Award ceremony last night.

At the award ceremony held in Seoul on Thursday, So and Park both took home the awards for best actor under the category of movies for their roles in Korean film "Always" and "Arrow The Ultimate Weapon," respectively.

Lee was handed the top acting award under the drama segment for his role as the king in KBS' historical saga "Gwanggaeto, The Great Conqueror" and veteran singer Song Dae-kwan received the top honor in the music category.

The annual Korean Culture & Entertainment Award ceremony acknowledges the best in drama, movie, entertainment and music while the finalists are chosen based on online votes and experts' critiques.
