Chicken franchise Genesis BBQ Group announced on May 13 that it will run the 'Variety Pack' promotion on the BBQ application (app) until May 24.

The 'Variety Pack' is an event that offers customers who order chicken menu items via the BBQ app the benefit of enjoying popular side dishes together. The Variety Pack includes half a Golden Olive Chicken, Golden Cheese Balls, Tteokbokki, French Fries, and more.

Coupons are automatically issued to the coupon box within the BBQ app and can be used immediately when placing an order without any separate application process. Only one coupon can be applied per order.

BBQ has been strengthening customer benefits centered on its own app, noting the steady growth in demand for dining orders placed online and via mobile devices.

According to the Ministry of Data and Statistics, the total value of online shopping transactions in March reached 25.577 trillion won, up 13.3% from the same month last year and marking the highest monthly amount since the statistical revision. In particular, the value of food service transactions rose 7.3% to 3.6307 trillion won, with mobile shopping accounting for 99.1% of food service transactions.

A BBQ official stated, "As online and mobile orders have become an everyday consumption habit, the importance of promotions that deliver benefits directly to customers through the BBQ app is growing. We plan to continue introducing a variety of benefits focused on our app to further enhance customer satisfaction in the future."
