Currently serving as the president of the National Social Solidarity Economy Local Government Council, candidate Bora Kim led the event’s keynote and emphasized that the social solidarity economy is a practical alternative to overcoming the crisis of regional extinction and transforming citizens’ lives.

In her welcoming remarks, Kim stated, "While working as mayor, I realized there are so many issues that cannot be solved by administration alone," and added, "To address local problems, residents themselves must take initiative, and the key to that is the social solidarity economy."

The joint pledge signed by Kim on this day consists of three main points: developing and implementing customized social solidarity economy pledges for local innovation and improvement of residents’ quality of life; strengthening policy coordination and support systems through cooperation with the National Local Government Council and related organizations; and ensuring administrative transparency and effectiveness by accepting monitoring of pledge implementation through the Korea Manifesto Implementation Headquarters.

This pledge goes beyond a mere declaration and reflects Kim’s determination to make "a people-centered economy, an economy where everyone is happy" the new growth engine for Anseong. In particular, by clearly prioritizing "pragmatic administration" that focuses on policy and vision rather than political strife, she is being recognized for presenting differentiated leadership to voters.

Kim emphasized, "I will embed the value of 'solidarity and cooperation,' which I have upheld for 30 years since 1993, throughout the local community," and added, "As an experienced leader who has drawn up the blueprint herself, I will firmly lay the foundation for a future where the social solidarity economy becomes part of citizens’ daily lives."

Meanwhile, candidate Bora Kim previously served as a Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly member and as mayor of Anseong during the 7th and 8th popular elections, and is currently continuing her vigorous efforts for mutual development among local governments as president of the National Social Solidarity Economy Local Government Council.
