From February to April, the county collaborated with six major domestic accommodation platforms to launch a large-scale discount promotion aimed at attracting more tourists during the off-peak season. A total of 1,546 local lodging businesses participated in the initiative, establishing a comprehensive promotional and reservation management system.

As a result, the event achieved booking payments totaling over 1.3 billion KRW, generating an economic impact approximately 4.3 times greater than the coupon support funds invested. The county anticipates that the positive effect on the local economy will be even greater when including additional spending by tourists on food and beverages, entrance fees to tourist attractions, and various experiential activities within the region.

Indicators for stay-based tourism also improved significantly. During the event period, more than 24,800 tourists visited Gapyeong, and the number of accommodation reservations increased sharply by 8,827 compared to the same period last year. Notably, over 18% of all users opted for long-term stays of two nights or more, demonstrating that Gapyeong is transforming from a "transit destination" to a "stay destination."

The response from visitors was also highly positive. According to a post-event satisfaction survey, 96.8% of respondents stated that the discount coupons played a decisive role in choosing Gapyeong as their travel destination. Overall satisfaction with the event's operation was also high, at 95.2%, establishing it as a successful case of tourism marketing led by a local government.

A Gapyeong County official stated, "Through this Accommodation Sale Festa, we have confirmed the potential to generate strong tourism demand even during the off-season. We will not be complacent with these short-term results and will continue to develop diverse stay-based tourism policies to serve as a driving force for revitalizing the local economy."
