On May 13, Yongin City announced that it had approved and officially notified the implementation plan for the project on May 12 in accordance with the 'Urban and Residential Environment Maintenance Act.' This is the city's third redevelopment project, with the main goal of improving the residential environment through the renovation of aging housing areas.

The project site is located at 789-3, Wangsanni, Mohyeon-eup, Cheoin-gu, with a total area of 23,793.2 square meters. This area has long been in need of redevelopment due to its concentration of aging buildings and lack of basic infrastructure.

With this approval, it is expected that the systematic redevelopment plan can now move forward at a faster pace, accelerating improvements to the local residential environment.

According to the project plan, the site will be developed with a building coverage ratio of 23.51% and a floor area ratio of 399.98%. Six apartment buildings ranging from four basement levels to 35 stories above ground, totaling 622 units, along with community welfare facilities, will be constructed.

An official from Yongin City stated, "We expect that this approval of the project implementation plan will mark the full-scale start of the Mohyeon District 1 redevelopment project." The official added, "We will do our utmost to provide administrative support and ensure transparent and stable management and supervision so that subsequent procedures, such as applications for member subscriptions and approval of management and disposal plans, can proceed smoothly in accordance with relevant laws and regulations."
