Major projects include: establishment of an AI platform for the safety evaluation of next-generation aircraft; construction of a certification test field for core materials and components in future mobility; building a Jinju branch of the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art; establishment of the Korea Entrepreneurship Center; and creation of a full-cycle standardization hub for natural materials. Fostering the aerospace and bio industries, as well as revitalizing the original downtown area, are the core initiatives.

Based on the outcomes of this meeting, the city plans to strengthen its efforts in May to ensure that these major projects are reflected in the government's budget proposal during the central ministries' budget formulation stage.

Acting Mayor Park Ildong emphasized, "To secure national and provincial funds, it is essential to promptly address the identified issues through consultations with Gyeongnam Province and central ministries," adding, "Since May is a crucial period when the outline of the government budget is decided, please take active measures such as visiting central ministries and explaining the projects."
