As consumer trends in desserts continue to change rapidly, HiteJinro is launching a limited-edition product inspired by the recent "butter rice cake" craze.
On the 13th, HiteJinro announced the release of "Butter-Flavored Chamisul," a unique alcoholic beverage that incorporates the popular dessert into its concept.
Previously, in March, HiteJinro became the first company in the industry to introduce "Duzzonku-Flavored Chamisul," an alcoholic drink featuring the flavor of Duzzonku, as a limited edition. Within just two weeks of its launch, 170,000 bottles of Duzzonku-Flavored Chamisul were sold, and official social media content related to the product received more than 50,000 engagements, including likes and comments.
This new Butter-Flavored Chamisul is HiteJinro's second dessert-inspired limited edition of the year, reflecting the recent butter rice cake trend. The beverage delivers a flavor reminiscent of freshly baked butter desserts, featuring a rich and smooth buttery taste from the very first sip, harmoniously balanced with subtle sweet and nutty aromas. The product packaging also features a cute toad character holding a stick of butter, set against a yellow color that evokes the flavor of butter.
Butter-Flavored Chamisul will be rolled out sequentially starting May 11 at university festivals, popular spring outing destinations, university areas nationwide, major commercial districts, and leading supermarkets. The product contains 12% alcohol by volume and is available in 360mL bottles.
