On May 13, Com2uS announced in a regulatory filing that its consolidated operating profit for the first quarter of this year reached 510 million won, a 206.9% increase year-on-year. However, revenue fell by 13.9% to 144.7 billion won during the same period, while the company posted a net loss of 8.3 billion won, turning to a deficit compared to the previous year.

Com2uS explained that stable results in its gaming division contributed to the growth in operating profit. The company’s baseball game lineup, based on the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) and Major League Baseball (MLB) from the United States, featured international tournament official sponsorships, promotional events, seasonal updates, and key player updates. "Summoners War: Sky Arena" (Summoners War), celebrating its 12th anniversary since launch, supported the results through its continued global popularity. Summoners War also rolled out major updates, including a collaboration with the popular content “The Lord of the Rings” and new dimension hole content.

Com2uS plans to secure growth momentum in the second half of the year through new game releases, aiming to expand its performance by leveraging the enduring popularity of its long-running titles. In the third quarter of this year, Com2uS will unveil “Zeus: God of Arrogance,” a new AAA-class MMORPG. This upcoming title, currently under development by the game startup Aiburton, is said by Com2uS to feature an expansive universe and narrative, high-quality graphics using the latest technology, immersive large-scale battles, and maximized convenience. Additionally, the company is preparing to launch “Doyonamgui: Crimson Inferno,” based on the popular Japanese animation of the same name, within this year.

To celebrate the 12th anniversary of Summoners War, Com2uS will conduct various promotions and major updates. The company will also work to expand its global fanbase through the global esports event, “Summoners War World Arena Championship (SWC).” The baseball game lineup is targeting its highest-ever annual revenue this year, with plans to continue promotions and content updates aligned with the seasonal flow of leagues such as the KBO and MLB, both domestically and internationally. A Com2uS representative stated, “We will further solidify our foundation for mid- to long-term growth by combining our existing flagship titles, highly competitive new releases, and external intellectual properties (IP) with global influence.”
