This “Love Lunchbox” volunteer activity was conducted in collaboration with the World Vision Songpa Social Welfare Center. Around 40 Woowa Brothers employees and Baemin Friends partners gathered at the Baemin Academy Seoul Center to prepare lunchboxes containing five side dishes popular with children, such as braised quail eggs and stir-fried sausage with vegetables. The lunchboxes were delivered to the children along with message cards designed by Baemin Friends partners themselves.
Choi Kyungwon, a Baemin Friends partner who participated in the event, said, "I am happy to be able to deliver carefully prepared lunchboxes to the bright children, and I will continue to practice sharing even more in the future." Another partner, Lee Jisun, added, "I hope the lunchboxes and message cards we prepared with care will be a great source of support for the children."
Kwon Yongkyu, Head of Baemin Academy at Woowa Brothers, commented, "It was a meaningful time to practice sharing with our store partners for the local community," and continued, "We will continue to pursue various activities to build a sustainable restaurant industry ecosystem and practice sharing with the local community."
Baemin continues to carry out various volunteer activities with its store partners, including delivering lunchboxes and kimchi, to support neighbors in need in the local community.
