Otis Elevator Korea (hereinafter "Otis Korea") announced on May 13 that it has renewed its elevator maintenance service contract with the Gwangmyeong International Design Cluster Knowledge Industry Center (GIDC) in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi Province.

View original imageThis contract renewal reflects the reaffirmed trust in Otis as a long-term partner, built on three years of professional service collaboration and reliability, and is set to continue for the next five years. The contract covers maintenance services for a total of 54 elevators, including 33 units equipped with the digital technology Otis ONE.
"Otis ONE" is an Internet of Things (IoT)-based solution that monitors equipment performance in real time and analyzes the collected data. In addition, its smart remote monitoring and alert features detect and address anomalies proactively, minimizing the risk of service interruptions and entrapment incidents.
Otis Korea also plans to further enhance customer satisfaction by replacing parts in a timely manner according to manuals and schedules, thereby extending the lifespan of elevator systems and improving long-term cost efficiency.
