Xiaomi Korea Appoints Summer Peng as New President, Aiming to Advance Korean Operations

Xiaomi Korea announced on May 13 that it has appointed Summer Peng as its new President.

Summer Peng, the newly appointed President, previously led the Hong Kong and Macau branches of Xiaomi, driving market share growth, optimizing multi-channel distribution operations, and strengthening premium brand positioning. Prior to joining Xiaomi, she held roles in channel sales, product operations, and consumer-centric strategy development at global IT companies such as Huawei, Skyworth, and OPPO.

Xiaomi Korea explained that this regular executive appointment is part of its efforts to respond to the rapidly changing global business environment and to further advance its business operations in the Korean market. Through this personnel change, the company plans to focus on enhancing product competitiveness and channel management capabilities, while expanding cooperation with domestic consumers and partners.
