Kakao Entertainment announced on May 13 that it will be holding the "Show Us Your Drama!" webtoon recruitment event for the drama genre on Kakao Webtoon from May 27 to June 10.

Submissions will be categorized into three moods: "cheerful," "dopamine," and "romantic." There are two categories for submissions: completed works and story pitches. For completed works, applicants must submit a full synopsis, the finished manuscript for the first episode, and a storyboard covering episodes two and three. For story pitches, a project proposal and synopsis, as well as a storyboard for episodes one to three, are required. Applicants may submit to both categories.

After reviewing the submissions, Kakao Entertainment will contact selected applicants individually to discuss production and serialization. Finalists will have the opportunity to serialize their work simultaneously on both Kakao Webtoon and Kakao Page.

Kakao Webtoon has previously launched titles such as "Ornithophobia," "Hell Office," "Itaewon Class," and "The Uncanny Counter." A company representative stated, "This is an effort to discover new works that highlight the unique individuality of each creator," adding, "We plan to continue recruiting for various genres throughout the year."
