Spotlight on Hanwha Forena Jeju Educity as a Beneficiary Complex
The "Hanwha Forena Jeju Educity" residential complex, developed by Hanwha Construction Division near Jeju Global Education City, is emerging as a beneficiary complex as the construction of the fifth international school within Jeju Global Education City officially begins.
According to the Jeju Free International City Development Center (JDC) on May 13, "Fulton Science Academy Atherton" (hereafter FSAA) held its groundbreaking ceremony at Jeju Shinhwa World on April 28. FSAA will be the first global campus of the prestigious private school "Fulton Science Academy" based in Atlanta, Georgia, United States, and is a private school specialized in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) education.
The school will accommodate a total of 1,354 students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The school plans to hold an online information session in the third quarter of this year, followed by an official admissions briefing in August 2027, with the goal of opening in August 2028.
With the commencement of construction on the FSA global campus, a top 1% prestigious school where 75% of graduates go on to Ivy League and other top 50 U.S. universities, market interest is focusing on "Hanwha Forena Jeju Educity," which is currently available for sale nearby.
Hanwha Forena Jeju Educity is a completed residential complex located in Boseong-ri, Daejeong-eup, Seogwipo-si, consisting of 29 buildings with one basement level and five above-ground floors, exclusive floor areas ranging from 84 to 210 square meters, and a total of 503 households.
The complex is situated just a five-minute drive from Jeju Global Education City. It offers a shuttle bus service within the complex to support convenient commuting and school transportation. The interiors of each unit feature a 2.6-meter-high ceiling, which is 30 centimeters higher than typical apartments, and 60mm soundproofing pads to minimize noise between floors. In addition, diverse community facilities such as a golf training center, fitness center, and GX room are available. The complex also boasts a large underground parking lot, providing 1.92 parking spaces per household.
A representative from Hanwha Construction Division stated, "As the groundbreaking ceremony for Fulton Science Academy Atherton took place as scheduled, inquiries about the complex have been increasing. Recently, concerns about unaccredited international schools have become more widely known, and the popularity of the verified Jeju Global Education City is expected to rise."
