On May 13, Wavve announced that it has selected 14-year-old amateur golfer Kim Seoah as its brand ambassador for the 2026 season. The company will produce lifestyle content such as "On the Way to Work" and "On the Way Home from Work," and host fan events where autographed golf umbrellas will be given away.
She is a rising star who has made a splash on this season's KLPGA Tour. At the domestic season opener, The Siena Open, she finished tied for 4th place. Most recently, at the NH Investment & Securities Ladies Championship, she achieved the youngest hole-in-one in KLPGA Tour history (14 years, 3 months, and 23 days), breaking the previous record by more than one year and eight months.
Standing at 171 cm and boasting a maximum driving distance of 290 yards, Kim Seoah won eight titles on the amateur circuit as a sixth grader. After entering middle school, she was selected for the Korea Golf Association's junior national reserve team.
Wavve has secured digital broadcasting rights for all KLPGA and KPGA Tour events. It was also the first in Korea to introduce Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technologies for live sports broadcasts.
