Fueled by these results, PC game revenue reached a quarterly record high of 318.4 billion won, growing 210% year-on-year. Mobile game revenue was 182.8 billion won. NC stated that, following the launch of "Lineage Classic," its three major mobile games continued to maintain solid user traffic. Mobile casual games earned 35.5 billion won in revenue. This quarter, the revenues of Lifuhuhu and SpringComs, companies NC has invested in, were reflected in the consolidated results for the first time.
By region, revenue distribution was 58% from Korea, 27% from Asia, and 15% from North America and Europe. Overseas revenue accounted for 42%, up from 35% in the same period last year.
In the second half of this year, NC plans to launch global services for "Aion 2" in North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. New intellectual properties (IP) including "Shin the City," "Limit Zero Breakers," and "Time Takers" are also set to be introduced sequentially after global testing.
