On May 12, the CJ Cultural Foundation held the 'Leaders Talk Commemorating the 20th Anniversary' at CGV Cheongdam Cine City in Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Under the theme 'How Can Popular Culture and Arts Be Sustained?', the discussion focused on the sustainability of the cultural ecosystem.

The keynote presentation was delivered by Kim Junggak, Professor of Arts and Cultural Management at Sungshin Women's University. Panelists included Jo Kangjoo, Senior Researcher at the Arts Council Korea, film director Min Kyudong, and Kim Kwanghyun, Chair of the Korean Music Awards Selection Committee. The discussion addressed establishing a structure that enables the emergence of new creators, maintaining genre diversity, providing long-term support, and sharing roles between the private and public sectors.

At the subsequent awards ceremony, the Achievement Award was presented to Kim Dongho, former Executive Director of the Busan International Film Festival, in recognition of his contributions to founding the festival and laying the foundation for the globalization of Korean cinema. Appreciation plaques were awarded to musician Jung Wonyoung, Seol Doyun, Artistic Director of S&Co, and film director Min Kyudong.

From May 22 to 25, the CJ Cultural Foundation will operate the 20th anniversary pop-up store 'Dream to Stage' in Seongsu-dong, Seoul.
