Public Broadcasting Home Shopping has been fulfilling a public distribution role, including the launch of an exclusive section for companies listed on the Post Office Shopping Mall.
SMEs and small business owners in need of support can submit a damage report through the 'Emergency Distribution Support 119 Center' page on the Public Broadcasting Home Shopping website. Those selected as support recipients will receive benefits such as being featured in exclusive sections of the Public Broadcasting Home Shopping online mall and mobile application. Promotions such as discounts will also be conducted to help boost actual sales.
The first group to receive support will be companies affected by high oil prices. This includes businesses struggling due to rising raw material costs and unstable supply of essential components caused by the Middle East war. Their products will be showcased in the 'Support Exhibition for Companies Affected by High Oil Prices,' which will open at the end of May. In addition, a 10% credit-back promotion will be held to help further expand their distribution channels.
A representative from Public Broadcasting Home Shopping stated, "As a public institution home shopping channel that prioritizes public interest, we have taken this measure to become a strong support for SMEs and small business owners in crisis," adding, "We will continue to make every effort to faithfully fulfill our role in providing public distribution channels."
