Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Establishes Integrated AI Platform for All Students

AI Accounts Issued to 5,500 Students, Supporting AI Transformation for Local Businesses

AI accounts issued to all students! Dong-Eui Institute of Technology has begun building an educational system based on generative AI.

On May 12, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology announced that it has established the 'DIT AI-ONE Platform,' an integrated AI education platform for all students, and has completed issuing AI accounts to 5,500 students.

The university explained that the platform was developed not just for basic use of generative AI, but to transform the entire educational system into an AI-convergent approach.

Students will receive practical training, not only in utilizing AI but also in developing AI agents and designing AI workflows.

The 'DIT AI-ONE Platform' is designed to enable integrated use of various generative AI models within a single platform. It supports the use of multiple generative AIs such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude, as well as multimodal AI agents, and offers image, video, voice, and data analysis features.

The university stated that the platform is already being used in capstone design and project-based learning (PBL) courses.

The university is also reorganizing curricula across all departments to focus on AI convergence. Students will undertake projects that connect their majors with AI technology to solve real-world industry problems.

The university plans to strengthen responsible AI education as well, including courses on AI ethics, critical thinking, and verifying information reliability.

Looking ahead, Dong-Eui Institute of Technology intends to support regional small and medium-sized enterprises with projects for developing AI agents, designing AI workflows, building local LLMs, and establishing company-specific AI data systems to facilitate their AI transformation.

Kim Youngdo, President of Dong-Eui Institute of Technology, emphasized, "There is a need for practical AI talent who can go beyond simple usage and apply AI to solve field problems," adding, "We will build an AI-convergent ecosystem where students and local businesses grow together."
