This initiative aims to enhance management efficiency and store competitiveness for small business owners by supporting the improvement of aging store environments and providing digital operation support.

Selected recipients will receive one-on-one on-site consulting from experts. They can receive up to 90% of supply costs, with a maximum of 3 million won, for the following areas: ▲Store environment improvements (such as interior renovations) ▲System upgrades (including POS systems, kiosks, and CCTV) ▲Promotion and advertising.

Eligible applicants are small business owners who have been operating in Yangju City for more than six months as of the announcement date and had annual sales of 1 billion won or less in 2025.

However, those who have received support from Yangju City's management environment improvement projects within the past three years (2023–2025), those who have benefited from similar support projects from Gyeonggi Province or other local governments within the past three years (2024–2026), and those who are delinquent on local taxes are excluded from eligibility.

Applications will be accepted from June 8 to June 12 until 6 p.m. Applicants can apply by visiting the Yangju City Small Business Association office or by mailing an application to the Korea Productivity Center.

The city plans to select recipients based on quantitative and qualitative evaluations, as well as additional points, prioritizing those with scores of 60 points or higher. The selection results will be individually notified via text message on June 26.

A Yangju City official stated, "We hope that improving aging store environments and supporting digital operations will help alleviate the real management burdens of small business owners. We will continue to provide support to create a stable management environment for small business owners, who form the foundation of the local economy."
