Kim remarked, "In this election, the citizens of Hanam have been handed a test paper with no answers," adding, "The choices are either politicians who habitually pocketed money or bodyguards who shielded conspiracy theories about election fraud and illegal martial law." He went on to say, "The two major parties have prioritized their own ideological interests over the pride of Hanam's citizens, and with their arrogant nominations, they are testing Hanam."

Kim explained, "I will provide a third option on a ballot filled with only wrong answers." He also emphasized, "I have neither bribery nor martial law—only ability." He continued, "We cannot entrust the nation’s politics or Hanam’s future to bribery-driven politicians or 'Yoon-Again' politicians. That is why, with the heart of Gwan-chang the Hwarang, I am stepping onto the battlefield today."

Kim pledged to create a better future for Hanam in the areas of transportation, education, and housing. He stated, "I, Kim Sungyeol, will be the one to change Hanam’s tomorrow, to transform the ancient capital of Hanam into the Republic of Korea’s AI capital, and to begin the next chapter for Hanam."
