Reducing Construction Costs and Shortening Project Timelines

Hyundai Steel announced on May 12 that it will hold the ‘HCORE Solution Partnership Call’ until June 30.

Through this HCORE Solution Partnership Call, which is focused on construction industry sites, Hyundai Steel plans to identify and address challenges that arise in actual construction sites together with its clients. The company aims to find practical solutions for issues such as reducing construction costs, shortening project timelines, and improving the efficiency of construction and fabrication.

The scope of the call has also been expanded beyond the existing architecture and civil engineering sectors to include data center and power infrastructure fields such as structural engineering, server racks and IT equipment, interior, cooling and air conditioning systems, energy storage systems (ESS), and power distribution and substation equipment.

All companies using steel products as well as academic associations and research institutes related to the construction industry are eligible to participate. Applications can be submitted individually or as a consortium.

A Hyundai Steel representative stated, “Through this call, we plan to support the entire process from idea generation for solving problems at construction sites, to performance verification, patent registration, and commercialization,” adding, “We will continue to strengthen our partnership for mutual growth with our clients.”
