On this day, President Trump stated in an interview with Fox News that he is reviewing plans to restart the Freedom Project on a larger scale than before. However, he added that no final decision has been made yet.

Previously, President Trump had launched the Freedom Project on the 4th, mobilizing significant U.S. military forces to assist merchant ships in escaping the Strait of Hormuz. However, on the following day, the 5th, he abruptly suspended the operation, citing major progress in ceasefire negotiations with Iran.

Meanwhile, Iran has delivered its ceasefire conditions to the U.S. negotiating team. President Trump stated the previous day that he does not agree with Iran's ceasefire proposal and declared that it is unacceptable.
