[Obituary] Passing of Choi Hyuk's Mother, CEO of Namdo History Forum and Former Editor-in-Chief of Namdo Ilbo

▲Kim Younghee (aged 89) has passed away. She was the mother of Choi Hoon (former Professor of Business Administration at Dongshin University and former President of the Korea Maritime Tourism Association), Choi Hyuk (CEO of Namdo History Forum and former Editor-in-Chief of Namdo Ilbo), Choi Heon (Kazakhstan Baekin Trading Representative), Choi Seung (former CEO of Miyojen Kazakhstan), and Choi Jin (former Executive Director at Lotte Engineering & Construction). She was also the mother-in-law of Jung Hyunmi, Choi Uijeong, Lee Kyunghee, Oh Hyesook, and Kim Youngsook, and the grandmother of Choi Chanil, Choi Chanwoo, Choi Chani, Choi Chanwoong, Choi Chanju, Choi Chanho, Choi Chanwon, Choi Hyerin, Choi Hyeri, Choi Chansong, Choi Hyemin, Choi Chana, and Choi Chanha. The funeral will be held at 6:30 p.m. on May 9 at Room 303 of the Gukbin Funeral Culture Center, Hoijae-ro, Seo-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (visitation available from 10:00 a.m. on May 10). The burial will take place at 9:00 a.m. on May 12 at the family burial site in Jangseon-ri, Deokjin-myeon, Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do.
