The early admissions round includes science high schools, Meister high schools, art high schools, physical education high schools, specialized high schools, and specialized departments within general high schools. This round will take place from August 24 to December 1, 2026.
The regular admissions round covers general high schools, autonomous public high schools, foreign language high schools, international high schools, and autonomous private high schools, and is scheduled to run from December 4, 2026, to February 5, 2027.
A notable feature of the 2027 admissions basic plan is that students’ grades from the second semester of their first year of middle school will be reflected in the evaluation. In addition, starting with the 2028 admissions process, volunteer activities will no longer be considered, while the weighting of attendance records will be strengthened. This is intended to comprehensively evaluate students’ continuous academic effort and consistent school life.
The provincial office stated that it will continue to closely communicate with the field, do its utmost to ensure students’ right to choose a high school, and provide administrative support to guarantee a fair admissions process.
