On March 24, CGV announced that it will broadcast four weekend games live from the Korea Baseball Organization (KBO) League opening series this season. Major games taking place at stadiums nationwide, including Jamsil in Seoul and Daejeon, will be shown in real time over two days, March 28 and 29.
At 2 p.m. on March 28, the games held at the Seoul and Daejeon stadiums will be screened on large cinema screens. The match between KT Wiz and LG Twins will be shown at sixteen locations, including Gangnam and Yongsan I'Park Mall. To enhance the sense of presence, the ScreenX Live technology will be deployed, utilizing the central screen as well as both side walls for a three-sided viewing experience. Simultaneously, the game between Kiwoom Heroes and Hanwha Eagles will be broadcast at ten locations.
On the following day at 2 p.m., the games at Incheon and Changwon stadiums will be shown on cinema screens. The matches between KIA Tigers and SSG Landers, as well as Doosan Bears and NC Dinos, will be broadcast at ten locations each.
Specific information about screening locations and ticket reservations can be found through the CGV mobile application.
