An exhibition that re-examines the subtle emotions we often overlook in our rapidly consumed and fleeting daily lives is being held. ARTE J, a cultural and arts planning brand, announced that it will host a special exhibition, "About Things That Are Never Light," at the Salt Gallery (Busan Cellas) in Busan from April 11 to June 13.

This exhibition aims to move beyond the simple binary thinking of "lightness" and "heaviness," instead exploring the layers of sensations that are deeply rooted in our lives. The phrase "never light," as implied by the exhibition's title, does not refer to physical weight, but rather symbolizes the presence that suddenly halts us in our daily routines and the emotional traces that remain vividly imprinted in our hearts over time.

The three participating artists each evoke these "dense" sensations through their unique visual languages. Artist Kang Minseong presents solidly constructed structures of sensation through the harmony of form and material. Artist Jung Dagyeom captures the afterimages of time drawn from the vanishing flow of nature, translating them into landscapes. Artist Park Yeongyeong projects intimate, personal memories and emotions in an abstract language, forming an emotional resonance with viewers.

In particular, this exhibition offers a variety of related programs designed to help visitors immerse themselves deeply in the worldview of the artworks. The opening event will feature a "concert" blending music and art, followed by a "tea gathering" where guests can savor the spirit of the exhibition over a cup of tea. There will also be an "artist talk" session where attendees can hear directly from the participating artists and engage in dialogue, sharing the process by which subtle emotions are transformed into art.

This exhibition, which promises to leave a lasting impression, is open to everyone and can be freely attended.
