On February 6, the Dongducheon City Facilities Management Corporation announced that it will significantly strengthen its operation of stay-type tourism under the theme of "staying and enjoying in the forest," centered on Dongducheon Natural Recreation Forest, a leading vacation destination in the Seoul metropolitan area.
Dongducheon Natural Recreation Forest is steadily gaining popularity among visitors seeking to recharge in their daily lives, as it is equipped with excellent accommodation facilities, a healing forest, walking trails, and other abundant forest recreation infrastructure. The corporation plans not only to promote passing, short-stop tourism, but to invigorate "stay-type tourism" that allows visitors to experience full recovery in nature, thereby also revitalizing the local economy.
In particular, on the upcoming 27th, it will officially open "Rim Spa," a new wellness facility within the natural recreation forest, further strengthening its content competitiveness. Rim Spa has been created as a space where visitors can enjoy spa treatments while feeling the atmosphere of the dense forest.
