Beomhan Group, a leading local company in the Gyeongnam region, has taken the initiative to practice community sharing.
The Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea (Chairman Kicheol Kang) announced that on January 27, Youngsik Jung, Chairman of Beomhan Group, donated 100 million won to support neighbors in need at the office of the Director of KBS Changwon Broadcasting Station.

View original imageThe donation ceremony was attended by Kicheol Kang, Chairman of the Gyeongnam Community Chest of Korea, Youngsik Jung, Chairman of Beomhan Group, Changyoung Choi, Director of KBS Changwon Broadcasting Station, and other officials, who shared in the significance of local giving.
Beomhan Group is a local company based in Changwon, operating 10 subsidiaries focused on hydrogen fuel cells and the defense industry, and is enhancing its competitiveness in the future energy sector and national core industries.
In particular, the company has continued its social contribution activities, considering mutual growth with the local community as a key management value alongside corporate growth.
Over the years, Beomhan Group has consistently fulfilled its corporate social responsibility by supporting disaster and emergency relief funds within the region and engaging in various sharing activities, such as helping neighbors in need, especially among vulnerable groups.
Youngsik Jung, Chairman of Beomhan Group, stated, "Beomhan Group is a company that has grown together with the local community, and I believe the role of sharing becomes even more important in difficult times. I hope this donation will bring a small hope to neighbors in need, and we will continue our social contribution activities together with the region in the future."
