LG CNS Promotes Kim Taehoon and Choi Moongeun to Executive Vice President: "Leading the Rapidly Changing AX Market"

On November 27, LG CNS announced that its board of directors had convened and carried out the regular executive appointments for 2026, which included the promotion of two executive vice presidents and one senior executive director, the appointment of five new executive directors, and the transfer of one executive from an affiliate.

LG CNS explained that, through this round of executive appointments, it has selected key talent to lead the artificial intelligence transformation (AX) market, accelerate execution capabilities, and drive future business and technology growth.


First, Kim Taehoon, Senior Executive Director of the AI Cloud Business Division, which plays a pivotal role in the agentic AI and cloud business, and Choi Moongeun, Senior Executive Director of the Entrue Division, a consulting think tank responsible for AX strategy, were both promoted to executive vice president. Lee Junho, Executive Director of the Smart Logistics & City Business Division, who has led the growth of next-generation businesses such as physical AI and robotics and solidified the company’s number one position in the automated distribution and logistics market, was promoted to senior executive director.


Additionally, Cho Heonhyuk, a young leader in his 30s who has achieved outstanding results in the design, construction, and operation of AI data centers both domestically and internationally, was newly appointed as executive director in charge of the Cloud Data Center Business.



With these executive appointments, LG CNS plans to continuously strengthen its core competitiveness in customer and industry expertise as well as IT technology and service capabilities, thereby leading customer business innovation. The company also aims to take the lead in the rapidly evolving artificial intelligence transformation (AX) market.
