The Yang Junhyuk Sports Foundation (Chairman Kim Daejin) announced on the 25th that it will hold the 13th Hope Plus Charity Baseball Tournament in partnership with NH Nonghyup Bank at Gocheok Sky Dome on November 29.

This year’s tournament will feature a donation program in collaboration with NH Nonghyup Bank to promote the consumption of Korean rice. For every hit recorded during the game, 100 kilograms of rice will be accumulated. Prior to the game, a rice ball-making event will also be held at the outdoor plaza of Gocheok Sky Dome. The rice collected during the game will be donated to the “Cheongnyeon Bapsim” project operated by the Jogye Order of Korean Buddhism Social Welfare Foundation.

The game will be played as a seven-inning exhibition match, with around 40 current and former professional baseball players participating to offer fans a variety of exciting experiences. In addition, broadcasters who love baseball and members of the national women’s baseball team will join, creating an even broader lineup. Singer An Seonghun and broadcaster Saori will also participate.

After the tournament, a charity auction of player-autographed uniforms, which received a great response last year, will be held. All proceeds from the auction will be used to support treatment costs for children with cancer.

Kim Daejin, Chairman of the Yang Junhyuk Sports Foundation, stated, “Thanks to the continued interest of the players and fans who share our vision each year, the Hope Plus Charity Baseball Tournament has been able to continue to this day. We will do our utmost to ensure that this year’s event, once again, becomes a place where warm hearts gather to share the value of giving.”
